Financial district San Francisco is probably not the main tourist destination but worth a visit if you are like me enjoy getting to know the city intimately. And there are a lot very photogenic buildings. Obviously Transamerica Pyramid is the most photographed of them all.

There you can also find a fully automated futuristic looking restaurant with robots and an  all-vegetarian menu if you need a quick and healthy lunch. Or you can opt for a love baby of  sushi and a burrito at nearby  Sushirrito.

If you really like a good coffee like I do, skip the Philz Coffee and go to Illy Caffe instead.

You can stroll down the narrow Hotaling Place, take a ride in a cable car, and find everything you want at Union Square which is surrounded by department stores, restaurants and souvenir shops.
